Zimba Women emerged winners at the 2019 Women In Tech Challenge Awards.
The organization took home the ‘Entrepreneurship’ award after beating competition from three women led organizations from the UK and Australia who were vying for the same accolade.
Zimba Women was represented by Peace Kutesa, one of its co-founders who received the award, at the event that took place on Wednesday May 15, in Paris France.
According to the Women In Tech Challenge Awards organizers, Zimba women was recognized for the pivotal role it has played in offering support to women entrepreneurs using technology platforms, business training and mentorship.
Speaking about their latest achievement, Zimba women said they felt honored and reinvigorated.
