Ugandan international football player Jean Sseninde is surely ending 2020 on high note. This is after she reached a new groundbreaking milestone, becoming the first Ugandan female coach to receive a UEFA coach certificate following the completion of her professional coaching course.
The UEFA B Licence is a coaching licence mandated by UEFA, the official governing body of European football. The licence is one level below the UEFA A Licence and allows holders to be head coaches of men’s amateur clubs, youths up to age 16, and assistant coaches for professional clubs.
Breaking the thrilling news to her fans and well-wishers, Jean encouraged them to never stop dreaming.
“So thankful this finally came through the post after waiting for long! Massive thanks to the English FA and of course my tutors who helped me achieve this.
To my Family & Friends who supported and cheered me on along the way, This is for us. Together .
#NeverGiveUp” She posted alongside the certificate.
In June, this year the former QPR and Crystal Palace defender joined Trinity Ladies Football Club in the UK.
