  1. Where are you right now, and what’s the setting like?
I am at home. I live with my family and everything seems to be normal because we are getting used to the lockdown in the country. I am looking at the positive side of this which is spending time with my family especially my son who I get to play, take walks and ride bikes with.
  2. What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?
Watching the news and seeing people come out to help vulnerable families through food donations.
  3. Who is your fashion inspiration?
I don’t specifically have a person in mind. I love to feel comfortable and not try so hard. I just make sure I look good.
  4. What are the wardrobe staples you think every woman should own?
A black dress saves a lot whether it’s a last minute invitation to a dinner, a party or a wedding and you don’t have what to wear. Black block heels because they match with any outfit and are comfortable. A coat or blazer or jacket, scarf and an already made head wrap for bad hair days.
  5. What’s your favorite holiday destination and why?
Switzerland is my paradise, its where I would love to go for my honeymoon because of its scenery, mountains and cities.
  6. What’s your secret to feeling and looking good?
The Grace of GOD is very sufficient. Knowing in every challenge, struggle, in good and bad times, my God is always with me. He loves me unconditionally and nothing and no one can ever change that. I also do home workouts at least three times a week. Being comfortable in my skin has also helped.
  7. What is in your bucket list?
Owning my own home, one of the most successful and beautiful restaurants in East Africa, working with international film directors and actors like Tyler Perry, Taraji P. Henson, Tiffany Haddish and going to Switzerland for a holiday.
  8. What is on your nightstand?
A Bible. I read a scripture or verse before sleeping. A notebook and a pen, because sometimes an idea comes and you don’t want it to slip out, so I note it down.
  9. What is currently on your playlist?
Azawi, I love her and her music so much. ‘Repeat It’, ‘Lo Fit’, ‘Quinamino’ are on repeat. Also, ‘Vibration’- Fireboy DML, ‘What If I Say’- Fireboy DML, ‘Believe’- Meek Mill ft Justine Timberlake and ‘Jerusalema’- Master KG ft Nomcembo
  10. What are you reading or watching right now?
‘You Are A Badass’ by Jen Sincero. I would recommend it to those who doubt their greatness and think they have no talent.
  11. What three people would join you in your dream dinner party?
My mum, son Keke and best friend.
  12. If you could swap places with one person (living or dead) for a day, who would it be? Why?
Tyler Perry. He is such a great inspiration to the entire world and to the entertainment industry. He inspires me to work harder, focus, be disciplined, determined and not be afraid to use my talent.
  13. What is your beauty routine for a healthy nourished skin?
I follow health experts on YouTube and see what works for me. I never go to bed with makeup. To remove it, I first apply raw Shea Butter all over my face, wipe off with a towel, apply soap and then wash it off. I don’t pat my face with a towel, I let it dry on its own. I do this for my entire body. I avoid touching my face and don’t allow people to touch it too. I use simple baby oil mixed with Shea Butter as a skin moisturizer. Sometimes I use homemade facial masks like avocado mixed with honey.
  14. What apps can you not live without?
WhatsApp, Gmail, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
  15. What social media accounts are you currently following religiously?
Tyler Perry, Tifany Hadish, Taraji and TD Jakes. I am following people who add value to my life.

The fashion and beauty trend of nude. I like nude lips and makeup because I don’t like too much color on my face.

There’s this black and white polka dot dress that I love so much. It gives me the ‘girl next door’ feeling, each time I wear it.
  18. What beauty products are in your make-up kit?
I have a lot of stuff like foundation, nail polish, concealer, eye-shadow, etc. But the ones I can’t live without include an eyebrow pencil, lip-gloss, eyeliner and powder because I apply very little makeup.
  19. What is the most important lesson life has taught you?
Whatever we go through, every hardship in life is not meant to break us but make us stronger, and give us direction. They are meant to guide us to our next phase of life and as we go through those challenges, God is always with us and we might think He doesn’t love us but at the end of the day He loves us so much and nothing can separate us from that love, not even hardships and challenges.
  20. What are the 3 things that have improved the quality of your life?
God/Prayer, I am totally nothing without those two. My son who is one person I look at and I see love, the grace of God, innocence and purity. Also Love, Love for myself, for my family and everything.
  21. What would people be surprised to know about you?
That I can be annoyingly shy and reserved  and then the next time I am so wild, I imitate people and make a lot of fun and jokes.
