10 Questions With ‘Bed Of Thorns’ Actress Diana Kahunde

With over 13 film and TV credits to her name, Diana Kahunde has no doubt left her mark in the film industry. The fun, bubbly and warm, incredibly talented actress who rose to fame after starring in NTV’s ‘The Hostel’ series as Annet, has featured in popular films like ’27 Guns’, ‘Before I die’, ‘Mafia Boss’, among others and TV series like ‘The Honorables’ and ‘Power Of Legacy’.
Her latest film, ‘Bed Of Thorns’ in which she plays the character of Jessica, premieres this weekend. Diana’s decision to feature in the all-female crew film, was informed by her own experience as a victim of Gender Based Violence that it tackles.
“The film means so much to me because I relate to it in so many ways. I chose to be a part of it because I’ve been through GBV and I didn’t want to see another woman go through what I’ve been through. No one deserves to undergo the depression that comes with it.”

    Having a good film shoot, swimming, doing my hair and nails, getting a massage, then going for spinach balls at Nawab, accompanied with Italian or Spanish wine, and lastly listening or dancing to good music.

  9. If I got stranded on a deserted island, the three things I would have:
    1. Bible to keep me sane, read the stories of Job and how he kept strong. 2. Insect repellant and pepper spray because I am allergic to some insects. 3. Water, its life. 
  10.  If I could trade places with anybody in the world for one day, I would be:
    Oprah Winfrey. She has been to hell and back but stood her ground nevertheless. She has touched me with her story and how she has used her fame to make others live better.
